GRE Services was engaged to deliver the full electrical upgrade for Richmond Mall’s Stage One redevelopment, supporting one of the Nelson Tasman region’s busiest retail centres through a major transformation. The project required a comprehensive, future-focused electrical solution designed to improve capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency across the site.

Our scope included installing new mains, a new main switchboard, and a new power supply from the street, providing a robust electrical backbone for the Mall’s ongoing redevelopment. We also completed full power and lighting installations throughout the public common areas and supplied electrical services for new tenancies as they were constructed. To complement the architectural redesign, GRE Services delivered a complete concourse lighting upgrade, featuring modern, energy-efficient fittings and bespoke feature lighting. These enhancements elevated the Mall’s overall ambience, providing brighter, more inviting spaces for shoppers while supporting long-term operational efficiency for retailers.
