We have just completed the 1st phase of our kitchen remodel and are so pleased with the work from GRE Services. Allan is certainly the right person for our project as he brings a wealth of knowledge and both Allan and Riley have been a delight to work with. We look forward to our next phase, plus we hope that we are able to continue to have Allan as our sparkie on future electrical work.

I am delighted with the services of Justin, assisted by Riley, in installing two sets of twin heated towel poles in my residence. While the assignment is not yet completed, the imagination and skill of your sparkie has resulted in a significant visual enhancement of the two ensuites. I don’t think this has been an easy assignment; nonetheless he’s gone about it systematically and diligently, and with good cheer, to achieve exactly the outcome I wanted.

We have been involved in a number of projects with Glenn Roberts Electrical, the first of which was the Saxton Oval Pavilion.  Since then, we have worked together on a variety of commercial and high-end residential and rest-home projects.  All of the team at Glenn Roberts Electrical have been professional and approachable and we have worked together to deliver some fantastic results. Their ability to perform to a high standard on site, but also provide design solutions and manage costs ensures that they are an electrical firm of choice for us as a main contractor. The Suter Art Gallery uses a variety of lighting throughout its building, from specialist exhibition track lighting; lighting for ambiance including uplighting and spotlighting architectural features; lighting for way-finding, working and safety; outdoor lighting.   The KNX system allows the lighting to be selectively turned on and off using a tablet with just a finger swipe and touch onto simple graphics.

I was told we would have had row upon row of switches had we not got KNX control, instead we have 3 very discrete devices controlling several hundred lights and the sun blinds in the entrance lobby – which makes things very easy to use.

GRE were the electrical contractor on our house build in Mapua. Their input was one of the highlights of the build process. They provided great input on the design of all of the electrical systems covering lighting, PV, automation and general power and showed patience while we figured out our final requirements with other contractors. On the job they were courteous, on time, kept us informed, and did what they said they would do.

We love the outcome and would recommend the GRE team to others.

With 6 Radio Brands coming out of the one building – and with MORE FM as the Civil Defence Radio Station for the region – when the lights go out in the city, the power needs to stay on at Fifeshire House.  So, when we identified stability issues with our emergency electricity backup system, we put the call in to Glenn Roberts Electrical.  They’ve responded brilliantly, at times in the ugly hours of the night, to some challenging situations. All throughout they have consulted and worked with our Engineering Department to ensure we get the power we need to stay on-the-air.
