GRE Services was proud to support the Māpua Tennis Club with a lighting upgrade designed to enhance evening play and improve access for the local tennis community. With a history dating back to 1926, the club has evolved over nearly a century — from its original court on Toru Street to its current home on Aranui Road, where additional courts were added in the 1980s. In 2023, all four courts were transformed with vibrant green and blue Tiger Turf, creating a modern playing surface that reflects the club’s coastal setting.

As part of the club’s ongoing improvements, GRE Services designed and installed specialist tennis court lighting, allowing members to enjoy safe, well-lit courts after dark. The upgraded lighting supports extended play hours, improves visibility, and enhances the functionality of the courts for training, social matches, and competition. Run by a dedicated volunteer committee passionate about growing the sport, the Māpua Tennis Club continues to be a thriving hub for players of all ages — and we’re proud to contribute to its future.
