GRE Services was proud to support the Nelson Classic Car Museum with the electrical works behind their latest attraction — a life-size Matchbox car display now positioned at the museum entrance. As a standout feature within Nelson Tasman’s tourism landscape, the installation required a reliable lighting and electrical setup capable of operating independently and efficiently.

Our team completed the full electrical installation, system wiring, and battery integration to support the existing off-grid solar system already in place. This included installing high-efficiency LED lighting, intelligent controllers, and a fully enclosed weatherproof electrical cabinet to ensure long-term durability and safe operation in all conditions.

By pairing the display’s solar supply with robust electrical infrastructure, we ensured consistent night-time illumination, reliable energy storage, and a seamless visitor experience for this eye-catching exhibit.
