Josh is the Company Director and owner of GRE Services, bringing over 33 years of experience as a fully qualified electrician across both New Zealand and the UK. With a strong background in the commercial and residential sectors, Josh plays a leading role in the day-to-day management of the business and oversees the delivery of large-scale electrical projects. Throughout his career, Josh has built extensive experience across all aspects of the industry, from hands-on electrical work through to high-level project management and leadership. He works closely with clients, contractors, and the GRE Services team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard. Josh’s practical expertise, leadership, and commitment to quality have been instrumental in the growth and success of GRE Services, helping shape the company’s strong reputation for reliability, innovation, and exceptional service.

Nic is the Finance Manager and Company Director alongside Josh, Colin and Rebecca. In her pivotal role, she oversees financial reporting, accounting, payroll, and a wide range of administrative functions that support the day-to-day operations of the business. She plays an integral role in shaping internal systems and processes, ensuring the business operates efficiently, professionally, and in line with industry best practices. Colin is an experienced electrician, Operations Manager, and Company Director alongside Josh, Nic, and Rebecca, bringing over 23 years of industry experience and strong leadership skills to the GRE Services team. In his role as Operations Manager, Colin works closely with our electrical team, customers, and suppliers to ensure projects and services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard. Alongside overseeing daily operations, Colin also leads our Solar PV division, Solar Smart Energy, where he specialises in designing customised solar solutions tailored to each client’s needs. From initial consultation through to installation, he oversees every stage of the process to ensure a seamless experience and exceptional results. Colin’s technical expertise, practical approach, and commitment to customer service make him a valued leader within the business and a trusted advisor to our clients.

She works closely with Colin, our Operations Manager, to ensure the smooth and efficient management of our busy Service Team. Rebecca’s role is pivotal in coordinating and overseeing all service operations, ensuring that every job is attended to promptly and professionally. As the first point of contact for our customers, she provides friendly and efficient service, making her an invaluable asset to our team. Gareth is an experienced Estimator with over 33 years in the electrical industry, bringing extensive knowledge across the commercial, light industrial, and residential sectors. Having worked throughout the South Island before settling in the Nelson/Tasman region with his family, Gareth brings a wealth of practical experience and industry insight to the GRE Services team. Known for his approachable manner and strong communication skills, Gareth works closely with clients to provide accurate, competitive pricing across all areas of the electrical industry while ensuring every project reflects the high standards GRE Services is known for. He also plays an important supporting role within daily operations, assisting the Operations Manager and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the business. Andrea Friend is the administrative superstar at GRE Services, playing a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly across multiple areas of the business.  As one of the first points of contact for GRE Services, Andrea is known for her warm, professional manner and willingness to assist wherever needed. Andrea provides full administrative support to the Service team, including the Dental/Medical, Heat Pump and IQP BWOF divisions. This includes booking jobs, coordinating schedules, overseeing inventory, and liaising with suppliers.  Her versatile skill set and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of the GRE Services team.

Maryam handles all Health and Safety Matters at GRE Services. In this role, she ensures a safe and compliant work environment across all company operations, overseeing health and safety protocols, conducting regular risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, Maryam handles the company’s media and digital marketing needs, managing online presence, developing digital strategies, and coordinating media outreach. Her expertise contributes to maintaining the company’s safety standards and enhancing its digital footprint.
