As part of a national initiative to reduce environmental impact and future-proof transport infrastructure, GRE Services delivered the complete solar and electrical installation for Mainstream’s new Truck Transit Premises in Richmond. This large-scale industrial project required a high-capacity renewable energy solution capable of supporting both current operational demand and the future transition to electric transport.

Our team installed 120 high-efficiency Solar PV panels, delivering up to 75 amps per phase at peak generation. The system is engineered to significantly offset the facility’s power usage while also providing the capacity required to support the charging of future electric vehicle (EV) fleets as Mainstream expands its low-emissions strategy.

A notable feature of this installation is the forward-thinking inclusion of rooftop water taps, an innovation that enables easier cleaning and maintenance of the solar array. This ensures the system can operate at maximum efficiency year-round, even in industrial conditions where dust buildup is common.
